You Need Money To Make Money

Yeah, it does take money to buy google ads as it takes money to buy any other form of paid traffic. That's why I said that you need money to make money.

There was something you said about not needing an autoresponder to do affiliate marketing. That's true, but you still need some kind of list manager. Some are free but are limited to the number of leads you can have or are limited on the number of emails you can send. But of course there are free alternatives.

Investing upfront money just makes all the process more fast.

 

You don't necessarily need money in order to make money online - although it can help.

I second the advice given by a previous poster that you should try and steer clear of "Get Rich Quick" schemes that charge for membership. There is sometimes value to be found in online courses and systems though.

There are some really effective ways to promote your endeavours for free and would recommend trying Facebook, Twitter, Instagram as well as starting your own blog.

 

It's become so inexpensive and easy to get a site of your own up on the internet these days, complete with your own custom domain name (no subdomains) and your own web host, that the level of competition has gone through the roof. The total number of web sites out there has exploded since 2010, where it nearly doubled in that year alone.

You may technically be able to get a site from zero to first page without any significant financial investments by doing all the work yourself, but what it boils down to is time. Do you really have the time to learn all the ins and the outs of how to do everything yourself? As well as the time to execute all of this once you do? You could easily spend a year trying to teach yourself HTML and CSS to build your own Wordpress theme, learning how to use Google Analytics, how to run successful campaigns in Google AdWords, how to do SEO, how to do keyword research, backlinking, etc...

But at some point along the line, if you want to gain any traction and jump start the process, you will need to invest some additional money to get you a hear start on some of these things.

 

I have a friend who started out with just a facebook page a few years ago and he has managed to grow it quite a bit and now he makes a living off of it by promoting cheap deals for clothes, shoes, purses and other stuff like that. So, you can make money with no money, but everything just takes longer and requires a lot more effort from you.

 

Yes it's definitely true for the internet but not as much as it is in regular, off-line business. A domain name and a web host don't cost that much. You can of course spend more if you want to do a bunch of advertising but that isn't really neccessary. There are lots of ways to do free advertising that still work great. But if you're going the free route when it comes to advertisement be prepared to work for it. You'll either spend money or work your butt off.

 

I think you will have to start with some money in order to earn more money. You will need money to start off and get the things you need. Investors need start up money to take a risk with. You have to start off somewhere. Make sure you have a little something to bring to the pot.

 

If you are providing an online service you could find jobs on freelance sites and sites like fiverr, but you would probably earn more if you were to invest a little money in setting up your own blog or website. Then you could be found by clients who don't use freelance sites and who might pay more than you could earn from a microjob site

 

This is true for most things in business. How would you start a candy shop without any money to use? It would be an empty bowl on the table that was supposed to have had tortilla chips.
