Keywords are the search terms that we use to rank our website upon. These are used by users to search on search engines.
Meta tags are title, description on the website. It is the part of on-page SEO.

Meta tag is a snippet of text that describes the page content. A keyword in the context of search engine optimization is a particular word or phrase that describes the content of a web page.
