Cubecart, Zencart, oScommerce etc. Tell us what platform you use, if you are happy with it and why.

Hi, my friend used WooCommerce on his family shop website, and the results are pretty good.
Also Magento is a good solution, but installation can get you in trouble.

for major function nd simplicty, I agree with Mr MikeMano using OpenCart.
but for more compleks nd easy customize, I prefer development from scratch of course needs more time for development.

The problem I see with this is you don't have a choice of hosting and I couldn't find any pricing information.

    Welcome to eForum :)

Ok, well personally I wouldn't buy something off someones Facebook page. I might follow the link to their business website but hey, perhaps someone will. Facebook is a great way to promote your business but I don't know of anyone (till now) that sells directly from Facebook.

    Good luck with that. :)

Ecommerce software is useful for our business arena. So we should learn every business holder about use of ecommerce software. In that space this location would be helpful to know about it that I seem.

It is quite true that Ecommerce software is useful for our business arena. But most of the online business owners don’t know about it perfectly and that's why I think everyone should to know about it. Thanks mate. :)

I used ZenCart several months ago. - I just installed it on my server to see what it was like, and how easy it was to customize.

I found it's control panel to be full of features.. Maybe one to many though :/

Making changes to the design was not too hard... But there are a many E-Commerce Platforms which are easier to "Skin" than ZenCart.

I would suggest ZCart Personally. You can get it from here or use our 1-Click Installer.

I hope that this helps :)

    Hi Mike,

It depends on how much money you want to spend. If you can find one that will accommodate customs skins its really a nice way to go. This would mean you design the site and they will use your design to add to their shopping cart. PDG is one but its not cheap. The retail price is anywhere from $599-$1799 (I can get a discount on it as we use it for phoenixtraders.com). This software is unique in the fact that it integrates with Quick books software.

We also offer shopsite which is billed monthly and can be added to your exsiting site. Pricing depends on your number of products. We also offer Accrisoft Storefront which is billed monthly

They may be a few others that offer customized skins but you'd have to hunt for them. Magento and other open source ecommece application are very good but they are written in PHP and you'd need a programmer to write custom code for them which would be costly.

    Good luck

    A great response!

I have played around with a number of E-Commerce Scripts, but should I require an on-line store, I shall be sure to let you know ;)

Hai, i decided to start a new eCommerce website for my small business. I got Quick Shopping cart tool at TuckTail.com . It was fantastic to create my online store. I got fast and easy setup. They provided free hosting service also. It is best to create quick eCommerce site..
