What Are Your Favorite Advertising Methods?

I am not yet into the marketing thing. I am definitely a newbie. I am asking the able minds of this forum to tell me what are your favorite advertising methods and why? For now, I have in my possession some brochures about my product. I can start with the brochures, but can you tell me what are the good ways to get exposure to my products?

It all depends on what the products are. Are they new or are they tried and tested? What type of people do they appeal to? Who is your target market? How do you plan to sell the product? If you could give us a little more information, I'm sure we can come up with some great ideas!

The other way is Social media marketing. You can use twitter ads, facebook ads, google ads for promotion. These methods are little bit expensive as compared to SEO but they give the quick results.
