Spammers, Scammers and Rip Offs!

The issue has come to our attention of the number of posts from those of you who have been taken in by sites such as 'Just been paid' and the 'JSS-Tripler'. While we understand that you are only doing what the program has asked you to do which is post links everywhere you can to build money in your accounts we will not tolerate our members being led into such unscrupulous scams. The only one making real money off these programs is the guy that started it.

We are a young community and would like to get off on the right foot so we can all help one another do well in our various business ventures. Remember "if it looks too good to be true, it probably is". If you see any posts that look suspicious please report them to us with the report button that is on every post.

Spam will be removed and any Illegal content may be reported to the proper authorities.

We appreciate your participation and wish you all a prosperous 2012.

Thank you for this. I find it is a prevalent issue on other sites, even sites such as LinkedIn. I am new here, but, I am already finding that I like the 'vibe' of the forum and hope it grows. I hope I can make a valuable contribution to this community.

Instead of "Just been Paid", perhaps they should call it "Just been laid" as the people who buy into this all get screwed! :D

I thought it was kinda funny but if you go to justbeenlaid.com it goes to the JSS Tripler site.

We've dedicated a whole page to internet scams on IWebNews.net

Most of what we see here are people falling for the Pyramid schemes. Remember if the only product is sign on's its a pyramid and someone eventually will get taken. It is not a sustainable business model.

My comment isn't directly related to this the scam, but rather is a suggestion for Eforum. I have noticed there are several comments that are extremely short and generic "it's great idea" and this was the response to a question about taking on two sites if your weren't comfortable.

I noticed that you guys have a little points system but I am not sure what it is for, my thought is that you could not allow people to start new threads until they reach a set amount of points. The other improvement could be a minimum word limit on comments for members below a certain amount of points. This is a decent site and could be great, I am sure that other users who want to use this forum as it was intended to be would also appreciate restrictions that reduce spam comments.

Either way, I like your site and look forward to sharing information with others for quite some time to come.
