Hey folks!

We would be more than happy if you would like to help us spread the word about eForum. This can now be easily done by selecting one or more of the below banners and put it on your webpages, blogs etc.

Could you please show me how to write the HTML Banner code, so the banner link opens in a new window? I know how to do it for other links, but, I am not an HTML code wizard & sometimes I put the language in the wrong order. Thanks for your help.

Actually, I already have those instructions, but, it doesn't work when I put <script src= in the code, so my placement of part of the code is wrong~ I'll play around with it and try and figure it out; thanks, anyway.

Hi! The script-code actually generates a link that will open in a new window. No need to do any editing. :-) This is what you get if you put the script-tag on your page:
<a href="http://go.clickmeter.com/rwg6/" target="_blank" style="text-decoration:none !important;width:88px;height:31px;display:block"><img src="http://eforum.com/banner/eforum-88x31.gif" width="88" height="31" style="border-style:none;"/></a>

The link go.clickmeter.com is for tracking clicks, it will automatically redirect the visitor to eforum.com

Thanks Akerberg,

That's odd, when i first added the script to iwebnews.net the graphic wouldn't show so I had to replace it with the gif image and the link manually inserted as per my post to Chas. It seems to work now though. I wasn't much concerned about tracking as its not a PPC link or anything.

Have you changed the tracking code since the eForum first posted the thread?

Thanks Akerberg,
That worked for me~ it now opens in a new window(unless FireFox is your browser, of course); but, I don't think you will see the click meter spinning very fast from my site. :D

Hi Chas,

I'm not seeing the eForum banner on any of your pages. Is it on platinumlynx.net or another site?

Try refreshing your browser~ I just placed it on the home page of platinumlynx.net
I am still working on another site, but, have just parked a domain~ I'll let you know when that one is launched.

I don't know what to tell you. I see it and when I click on the banner it brings me to eForum. Maybe some other members can weigh-in on it?

That's the trouble

I don't see the banner. I've refreshed tried another browser and even used ctrl f5 which refreshes without drawing from the cache and I don't see it on any of your 4 pages.

hmmm:eek:
