My name is Spike, and I suck at marketing. 
I'm one of those people who understands how it works and knows a lot about it, but who can never seem to get marketing to work for them. I guess I don't have the killer instinct or the willingness to bend the truth, or whatever it is that good marketers have...!
I live about five minutes from the beach, on the south coast of the UK. I'm primarily a freelance writer/editor, and I own and operate a couple of sites for web content writers - one's a marketplace for written content, the other is an agency setup for writers trying to sell their articles.
Looking forward to meeting some new folks and picking up some new ideas that might work for me - and maybe even figuring out why I'm so crap at the whole marketing thing!
