Has anyone successful used CraigsList to drive traffic to their website?
I do know that some people have problems with their postings being ghosted and/or flagged by the competition. Have you developed a method to getting your postings to stick?

I've tried this before and I've never run into problems with competitors, fortunately. I don't think it's best suited for all types of sites, though. I think there are certain topics or themes that would go best with this type of advertising while some may just be ignored due to the demographic if Craigslist users.

I have tried it too and it works great. Craigslist is a great platform to generate huge traffic and leads for your business.

I am not sure whether Craiglist effectively drives traffic to a particular link. If what you're promoting happens to spark enough interest, then an increase in traffic would be possible. Also, if you include keyword-rich anchor texts in your ads, you're likely to increase your websites PR or search results performance. As to how much, only search engine algorithms can tell.

Oh, so it seems I'm only the one, for who Craiglist did not work at all. Maybe I was doing something bad, but I couldn't find any clients there. I know that this site is powerful and there are a lot of traffic, so maybe I will try one more time. I think I have to look fo some guide or something.

I have tried using Craigslist in the past to drive traffic to my site however i don't do that any more because i observed that their were other ways i could drive traffic to my site that could give me better use of my time.

What other ways are you driving traffic to your site?

I use Craiglist because I provide a service for local businesses. My ads rank high in the SERPs. Not as high as they would have a couple of years ago, but I'm not complaining.

I have never tried Craiglist before, but since you have posted something good about them, claiming that your ads rank increased and it can totally drive traffic to your site, I might consider it.

Mostly craigslist is used for driving traffic to the website and as an ad to the business. Because the craigslist is the only good paid ad posting site to advertise in USA. Most of the buyers and sellers use the site. The problem is for ad posting jobs by the freelancers in craigslist should use phone verified accounts of USA. So, out of USA country dwelling freelancers are suffering for ad posting jobs. They are unable to use.
