Many of you already know that link building in 2013 has changed significantly. Long gone are the days of keyword stuffing, using spun content, and all of the others cheap and sleazy ways to get your site ranked by an overseas company for $100 per month.

Welcome to the beginning of Good, Ethical SEO. Although many people may dread this, I must say that I am pleased to see the downfall of spun articles, blog and forum spamming and all the other methods that detract from great companies like mine that take the time to develop unique content.

Another change you can expect to see in 2013, is the increase in the importance of "Google Author Rank" It is even believed that author rank alone will influence rankings considerably in coming months, great news for those of you who continually write great content.

Since I couldn't cover all of the changes here, please take a moment to check out this article on link building in 2013 and please feel free to share your feedback.

I so agree ! Those who panic because of these updates, either don't understand or probably have good reason too.

Quality way out way quantity. Too many people are hung up on getting tons of traffic, likes, followers, contacts ..... stuffing their site with keywords and creating backlinks to anything.

SEO is not an easy topic, but the basics, you need to understand what it is, how it works and then you'll know what needs to be done. The quality of content and products, service to visitors and customers just gets lost along the way if you don't look after things.

    Good article.
