Do any of you start to use images in your articles? I know that I have started to use images when I can submit them and they have started to show quite a bit of results for me. So is this something any of your have noticed happening or not?

I always try to include images in my posts. It adds a bit of interest and breaks up the monotony of the text. All in all, images help your site look easier on the eye. I use my own photographs in general.

Images are good for SEO, and not just because they can show up in search results. Each image should have a caption, title or description which contains a keyword.

Also, a page with at least one image is more pleasing to the eye than one with just a lot of text. I've read that the human brain is more attracted to images than words and can interpret the meaning of an article by it's illustrations.

If you are not using your own photos, you can choose from stock photos and images that are licensed for free use. Always read the terms of use, because some image sites require attribution or a link. Never take any image direct from a blog, website or Google, or you could be in trouble over copyright law.

I love including images to my article posts. It makes the content more gripping and it somehow attracts the viewers to read more.

Where do you submit your articles and have success? I am not sure if I can find pictures of great quality to show.

I write for Hubpages. If you think that your article posts are interesting enough and can stand alone without the use of pictures, then you don't have to put images anymore. It just depends on you.

I do agree, but to get a good hub score you need to put up at least three. When I first started I put up one or two and now I stick to three. I don't post so much, because I think too many images detract from an article. If it's food then yes I want to see how a recipe turns out, but if it's a piece on philosophy then there are very few images to use.

Consumers have become more and more visual these days. It's of little wonder that Pinterest has suddenly become an online sensation. That's the power of pictures for you. You can't just bombard them with information without teasing their senses. Putting up interesting pictures lure them to read on. So yeah, it makes a lot of sense to invest in images.

Yes. Putting images has its pros and cons. It can be a little bit distracting and sometimes can possibly take all the attention away from the written content. I think images work pretty well if your article is about a "how to do" stuffs or "step-by-step" procedure. It really depends.

Images definitely make a difference in many ways. The only time I've noticed images being distracting is when there is a disconnect between the images and the content. I find images help hold interest when done correctly and they definitely help with social media.
