I would like to go for both given that they can both be helpful in driving audience to your website and if you have a good website then you will have a loyal visitors.

I think using both is extremely wise -- although your focus while using each one should be completely different. Pinterest works best for driving an audience if what ever you are trying to accomplish is product based. Pinterest is all about show and tell and if you sell or make products, showing them off on Pinterest is an amazing opportunity.

Facebook on the other hand will more easily let you reach an audience that you can freely communicate ideas with. If you are looking to reach a specific audience or are looking to network -- FB is the place to be. Best of luck!

Using both is the smart thing to do, but put your biggest effort on the one that makes the most sense for your business. Craft-based businesses do extremely well on Pinterest and anything product-focused that's oriented mainly to women.

If you can afford to do both at the same time, then cool. However, if you are going to be operating the campaigns yourself, you still would need to start with one before the other. And dont forget, one of the main keys to success is focus. You dont want to be jumping back and forth without proper focus or else you begin to spread yourself thin and then somewhat defeat the purpose. I would start with Facebook because I know that they have a huge audience and you can laser target your ads to get some very strong leads. Once you get that going really well, then you can implement Pinterest. If you have someone doing the campaigns for you, then I guess you can more effectively run both simultaneously.

I still think Facebook is still way more effective just on the grounds of user base alone, but that doesn't mean it's the most efficient route. If your product is very visual then there's a good chance of getting it more noticed at Pinterest than Facebook, although if it's unique enough then it will probably gain some attention on both.

In my point of view Facebook is more good and effective in compare to the pintrest. I agree that pinterest is well good but still the amount of user is high in Facebook not in Pinterest.

I'm not very familiar with pinrest so I can't really give an education opinion as to whether or not it is worthwhile. I would say yes, just because it seems to be popular, but I can't say for sure. Facebook is obviously a known commodity and it's a "must" for promoting your website.

It really depends on your niche. Pinterest is a site that has a large majority of its users being female, so if your niche doesn't relate to a female audience, then Pinterest may not be worth your time. Facebook can usually relate to all niches, as long as it isn't adult.

I love both. I finally have a pretty established Facebook page for my business and now I'm going to be spending some time developing my Pinterest page. Facebook is my foundation but Pinterest is a nice tool to enhance what I already have. I don't think Pinterest can stand alone like Facebook can but it does make a nice tool to help your business.

In my view, both have significant role, facebook is good as far as diversity of content posting provides people better exposure and in pinterest you can share different kind of content.

Hey that's great and interesting.. ! Both are very essential to drive traffic in our webpage or product. In Pinterest, It will drive traffics more only if you should have the collection of depicted, descriptive, portrayed photographs either from product or service based. But Facebook is little different. We can push whatever the things to come up and go viral easily with the help of sharing post. :)

Now a days Facebook is most popular social networking site compare to Pinterest because you can create Groups, business pages in Facebook and promote your product but in Pinterest you have only one option is pin your products only. So that I suggest you go through the Facbook.
