Your Experience With Youtube Monetization

I have heard of the monetization component of YouTube. I have not used it yet since I have no real content on my channel for the moment. Yet, the curiosity is getting to me. I am sure that when one starts, you will not get much, but are there people here who is getting decent income from that program? Please feed my curiosity. Haha.

 

As far as I know you're channel has to be fairly large (10,000+ subs) before YouTube monetization makes enough to matter.

Thanks! It is a good read. I will drop by that site again once I am free to position myself better. So far, the largest views we had on our channel before was 200,000 plus. I will compute how much that is.

The plan that I have is for an animation channel, together with my gf. Need a good base for that to happen then.
