I have a Yola Website, and personally I do not like the sytem. It is too basic.

I prefer going to a website designer that I trust other than a large company. (unless they work for that company :D )

I have found that Yola is great for Novices, but for those who want a little more BOOM, then I think a designer that you know is better.

Plus, the price is pretty steep in comparison to some great work I have known other designers to do.

    Hello, Michael James Swan!
Please take note that Yola has updated the sitebuilder. :) So it should be better now, and basic or not is depends on you how you design it. If you don't know how to design, you can get Yola Premier and some one will help you. ;)

The problem with builders like Yola and intuit is you have to host with them. If you decide you want other hosting you cannot take your site with you so it's $500 down the crapper.

You're better off paying for good hosting and a designer so the product is yours to take with you if you find out their hosting and support suck.
