Winners will be announced next week

If you’ve been following the About.com Readers’ Choice Awards you may think you know who the winners are already. But I wanted to remind you that the votes must be scrubbed to verify that no voting fraud occurred. I already have reason to believe that some gaming of the polls did happen, so I too am waiting to find out what the final results are.
As a reminder for next year: About.com takes fraudulent voting seriously and is scrubbing every poll in the Readers’ Choice Awards to remove fraudulent votes. While I appreciate your enthusiasm, it’s better to vote every day and encourage your friends to do the same than to try to use some type of robot to add extra votes. This type of voting will be found and removed as is happening right now.
