Which is Good Abstract or Graphical?

Finally planning to make a logo for Blog and a bit confused about this. Which LOGO is best for a news blog Abstract or Graphical? My blog is based on news around the world. What is your opinion about this?

 

Abstract logo will remain the best for the news related blog it will be easy to recognizable compared with other graphic logos as per uniqueness, simplicity with less colors and attractiveness. It will give the unique identity to your blog in the market like ‘Nike’ and ‘McDonald’s’ logos.

 

Actually I was also thinking the same. But later I thought why don't I take the suggestion of other members who says about it. So, I get better idea. Thank you jacobobama and jayram

 

I'm not a fan of abstract so I might be biased, but I tend to think they look a bit generic more often than not. It would take a very good design to make it stand out among the rest instead of just making it look like all other scribbled on logos.
