Crawling means bots see web pages and Indexing means Bots see and store web pages in database.

Both Crawling and Indexing will come into the frame after we submit our website to Search Engine's Database like Webmaster Tools.

    The Difference is,

Crawling : Before Indexing the pages in SERP's Crawlers(Bots) will crawl(scan) the web pages and it will decide which content or webpage should get Index.

Indexing: Just simple, after crawling the bots will Index the pages in Database which can be appear in SERPs.
