Why people choose php as a language mostly so as to create websites..

 

Main reason to choose php to create website is because its easy and you have some other options like WordPress, joomla and other which are works on php. and another thing php is more flexible than any-other language.

Also as PHP is widely used it is extremely easy to find information about the language and how-to's about almost everything.

There's a lot of hate towards PHP but I think it's a good choice for web development. It's also a good choice for first-time learners because you can get yourself going in no time.

PHP is a server-side scripting language designed for web development and main benefit of using php is open source

 

I honestly never knew why but this thread has given me an idea so thanks guys. I was taught this at university but I never questioned why it was the preferred choice, but it does seem like it's the most widely used at the very least.
