[IMG] Creating dynamic web pages that change or move or otherwise do something is something that most web designers want to build at some point in their careers. And one of the first ways most of us got into dynamic pages was with the meta refresh tag. This is an HTML meta tag that will either reload the current page from the server or send the browser to an entirely new URL. But while these redirects are commonly used, there are dangers in using them. Search engines can see them as spam and ban your site, they can cause problems in some browsers especially when customers are trying to move back to the previous page, and you can use other technology like PHP or JavaScript to redirect as well.
