The Offer Or The Design

I see lots of people online stressing about the actual design and layout of their website/webpage. The look and feel of the site is very important but I feel that what the website is actually offering is probably more important than the design of the site. I absolutely hate going to nicely designed websites to find that what they are offering is junk and/or useless. I would much rather spend my money at websites that offer useful products or services that actually work but may not be such a fancy website. I much rather that than spending money at a fancy looking website to find out that the product or service is a piece of junk. What do you think??

 

What you are saying is true. It's far more important to have a good offer than a nice looking design but the truth also is that a crappy looking site can drive customers away so it's important to at least have a decent design set up. One that make people focus on the important things of the offer.

Design is important. It can make the difference between a 50%+ conversion rate and 0% conversions.

 

I agree, I find that highly disappointing too and I don't like the feeling I get when I find such websites. I think content is much more important, surely. The design helps, though, if the content isn't strong enough to carry the website. I find I'll put up with a lot if the content is good. For example, I once didn't like reading online too much but I landed on one website with great articles but a very outdated design, and I ended up binge reading all of their articles in under a week.

 

You not consider good designer then you can buy any wordpress or joomla template after you can customize as your requirement.
