Required time for Website promotions SEO?

Dear, I want to know something about Time frame for keywords ranking of a site.

Actually I am very good in SEO and all things are very clear also can bring a website on top rank very sharply. But i never can judge in starting that how much time a keyword will take time to come up. I can easily find competition and local global searches but still not clear how we divide time frame for targeted keywords.

Please help me out how you judge it. and how much competition and searches explain this a particular keyword need 2 months or 6 months to come on top rank. What is the main points you look for that and how much competition with alternate local and global searches required 2 to 6 months seo work.

Please help me if you know about it.

Actually it completely depends upon the keyword density and its competition. If we choose the toughest keyword then it will take 4-5 months.
