    Hi everyone,

Loving the site and the replies I have received so far have been great and slowly being put in use.

While writing a reply to another thread I was wondering if my slogan is putting people of buying from me?

I sell adult sex toys etc (I won't name the site on here) and my slogan is 'Adult sex toys for naughty girls and boys!!'

Would this put you off buying from me?

One of the biggest company's in the UK uses the slogan 'UK's favourite online sex store' and 'UK's favorite Lingerie & sex toy shop'.

So they use the words sex and toy and still get very good business.

So is my slogan sleazy or fine as it is?

    Thanks in advance.

I would my slogan to be much more kin.ky ... more playful if you want.... after all you sell toys :)
You can also test some slogans... create different html variants of your first page.... and see the results.

You aren't selling Betty Crocker Take n' Bake; however, I think your member name here says it all~ the short and sweet of it; if you didn't mind using it on other applications. I think it has great potential for branding your business.

I meant it could be used as a Domain Name, if it is available, for your signature on e-mails(related to your business, of course), maybe even as a private label for lingerie in the future. Start thinking of it as your brand~ 'Vibroheaven'. 'Victoria's Secret' was once just an idea a salesman had to market women's lingerie; but, does anyone not know what 'Victoria's Secret' is by now? Like I said, the potential is unlimited.

    Hi,

Yes I am using it as a domain name but now you have got my brain working overtime with private label idea's!

Thanks for planting that seed, I'm now going to look into some ideas and see what and where it couldtake us.

    Once again thanks.

Now, that we've covered branding, let's address the original question of the post- this idea for a slogan just popped into my head- "Heavenly Vibrations"- it is succinct, conveys your product and brand, and I don't think it would be offensive- some people may read things into your original slogan that could cause you problems down the line. I don't think I have to spell it out for you, for you to know what I am talking about.

My personal opinion is that slogan don't make real difference, if anyone find better or same but cheaper product on other site... slogan don't make real change in situation. It just to make person interested in your site (average person need 6 seconds to choose stay or leave). But i think slogan don't change anything about buying (only if you get into "i need it now" buyers) o_O So quality and price make. But i like slogan "Adult sex toys for naughty girls and boys!!" it can interest me.

I think Slogans can be an important part of marketing. It's really on a subliminal level for the most part but having a slogan the is associated with your product over time will make it more memorable.

Somehow your slogan sounds more juvenile than enticing. It's a personal opinion, but my take is that's what's getting you.
