Hey guys. Im running a classified site .For my site i need backlinks so that my website become popular.Please help me for getting free backlinks for my website

Writing and submitting articles to the article directories is a great way to generate back links to your website. I use an article submission service for this purpose because they submit to hundreds of directories on my behalf. It's a real time saver.
I also use submission services for the directories and social media where again you are gaining steady back links for minimal work and costs.
Also Value Exchange is a great Free service which takes the agony out of exchanging links with non competitive but related websites.

Yes you need backlinks to your website. But I think that you will need to clean it a little bit first, then you need to make backlinks to as many intrenal links as you can, but be sure that you don't post backlinks to temporary pages (like your customers ads) and if you do this make sure that you set up a redirect.
There are many ways to get free backlinks to your website:

Write articles about your niche​

Add a blog to your website​

Add articles on article directories or on other blogs​

Add related comments on blogs with backlink to your website​

Add easy to use buttons for your visitors to be able to share the ads with friends (addthis)​

You Cant get backlinks Overnight and if you try to then You will disappear quickly from google! Always try Manual link building for links just few Good links and there you go on top within few months...Yes within few months...Not days!!

Write useful content rich articles and submit them to various portals and agree this is not an overnight business. Be patient and build your portal an online reputation up strategically and professionally. Find other related websites and ask for a link, offer to write a post on their site, directories and there are many more.

Try free directories with high page rank. This will take you some time to do, because you have to submit your site manually to each one of them, but it is effective. I have a list of 150 free directories that can use here: http://ilianalola.com/10-free-directories

Blog commenting in relevant blogs is also a great way, but you have to be sure that you do not spam others people blogs, but you have actually something to say.

I propose not to create more that 20 backlinks per day, so to build your links naturally. This will help you with search engines.

 

Directory Critic can provide you with a huge selection of directories...I think its a good too to use. I have been using it for a while. You can find new and old directories and those with good PR too.
