Organic Search Engine Hits

Hello All – I have been blogging coupons for 8 months or so – Overall most of my traffic is from Facebook / Twitter. I have a fan page with 1,200 fans and 350 Twitter followers –

Not nearly as much as competitors but it’s a start…. I have spent time reading webmasters tools from google / and optimizing my blog template to the best of my ability.

My main question is (understanding that content is most important) why am I not getting organic hits? The top google hits for a search in my market basically have no content – just a description of the coupon with a pic and the dollar amount of the coupon…

For example: I blogged a $5.00 On any FIVE Kellogg’s Cereals coupon – Literally I was the first to post it anywhere and trying to find it in a search engine is impossible – My competitors…..all right at the top – some even listed it days after me with the same title!

One success I had was a free outback steak dinner – I posted it at 8:00 PM in August of 2011 and two hours later it had over 3,000 Hits…It was insane!

hi - thanks for the reply - i have read that as well...would it be possible to bring all my content and name to my own site? like a forward? i know i read it is frowned upon to forward domains...thanks again

First of all check you keyword impact ( means where user is interested and what result came ), then check traffic comes from organic keyword
If all is OK then make you title unique and URL also if you don't know how! then pm me
