i am working on my site for last 2 months. I am applying all the techniques for onpage and offpafe SEO but PR is still zero 0. i dnt have any option to reciprocal link exchange. please let me what should i do to increase PR. my site link is http://www.archidesignawards.com

I too have this problem. I have PR1, and I need to get up to at least a PR3 before I can get need the top 10 pages of Google. Any advice would be hugely welcome?

- every day update your site add unique content. If your site provide some good information for visitor then 100% visitors come back to your site again and again.
- Create a Site map: If your site XML based then acquire google web master account and sign in. In there you see your site static.
- Trade your links with other website owners means their link put on your site then they put your site link in their site.
- Give inside link to your website means You can give your link of your previous blog and next blog on blog page. and also provide related blogs link. so visitor remain long time o your web site

1 Give and take-you give your link to other site and get back link by asking them(Reciprocal Link exchange)

2If you have sites in bulk ,then you can provide link to your main site from those bulk sites but that is not recommended but google(3 way link exchange)

 

but dear pinging sites wont work each time

 

Do proper onpage lite charecter limit in title and meta tag keep original content on your site,do fallow link craete, keyword density 2-3%

 

Time is only the reply for you,Pr does not comes overnight!!! Start high quality link building,wait for atleast 3 months,then check your PR

You dont need PR3 to get to the first page of google. I would focus on off-page optimization techniques, make certain all your content is original and not duplicated content found on other websites... also check that each page has sufficient text based content.

 

Taking a quick glance, I think some of your challenges could relate to a lack of text based content on that home page. As a minimum you should try to secure at least 400 words. At the present you have only 241 words on that home page.

Secondly, I would try to include on page links with text based anchors for your target keywords. Each of your internal pages should also provide text based links to other pages within the site. This is in addition to any menu based links.

I feel you would benefit greatly from on-page optimization techniques to boost the site.... then following this exercise, you will need off page optimization.

When you build backlinks don't just ping them turn them into a rss feed and then post them onto your blog and tumblr sites this will increase the speed they are seen by google and thus help your ranking . Basically sing up at http://ping.fm add your social media sites such as tumblr and your blog then , now go to http://links2rss.com/ and change your backlinks into an rss feed give your feed a title using your key words and add your website every bit helps lol. the rss feed will expire in 24hours so to solve this copy the rss feed url and go to http://feedburner.com its owned by google now copy the rss url into this click next and you have a permanent feed , now paste that into your ping.fm account and allow that to post to your 2.0 websites , add a little text with key words too , but not to spammy and google will read this alot faster than any other way .

 

Another way to increase pr is to post inside backinks to high pr forums , use paulies or angela's backlinks they are a good starting point to understand how to do it , then you can find your own .
