Would it a good ideal to add music to my site

I was wondering what music will do best for a website that is selling products can you use newer music?

It depends on what your selling. If your selling music its a great thing to have. if your selling books or computer equipment....probably not. you'll slow down the load time for the page and distract from the product. If you have a video that is optional for the viewer then background music may be ok.

As far as the music itself, you need to make sure you have permission from the owner or composer. I was actually a musician for many years so I've been able to offer clients original music without the fear of copyright infringement.

Overall I would say adding music files to your website is generally not a good idea.

Thank you very much for your advice as i have a friend that is a rock group and they have a song that i would like to add so i won't do that now

 

Yes, but just don't choose a very noisy and annoying one.

 

Adding music to your site is a good option . But the music should not play automatically when a visitor visits your site. He must get the option to play it or not. Sometimes music can be irritating when a person comes to your site to seek some important information. Choose a soothing number .
