Google panda V/S Google penguin?

What is basic difference between google panda and penguin?

 

No Difference Between both panda and penguin, major line is "content is king"

 

Panda and penguin are efforts by Google to penalise scammers and those who try to game the system. Panda and penguin focus on different areas. If you are a black hatters, Google is coming after you. Content should be fresh, unique and meaningful to the readers.

 

Both Google Panda and Penguin are algorithm updates. Google Panda was released February 23, 2011 and its primary goal is to evaluate websites and blogs according to design and user's experience, quality of content and usage metrics. If your website is liked by Panda, it receives an upgrade while a website that failed to meet the guidelines, Panda downgrades it.

Google Penguin protects the search engine from any black hat techniques in SEO that is released in April 24, 2012. Once it detects that you're performing techniques such as keyword stuffing, link farming, cloaking, content duplication, etc, your website is penalized or decreases its search engine ranking.

Well, Panda update is pays much stress upon the quality of content, and its relevancy with the theme, whereas Penguin update is related to spamming, keyword stuffing and black hat practices.

 

i think panda & Penguin are same . some algo are change between panda & Penguin

 

True true true,Panda was ok my websites passed,but this pengiun has eaten almost all my websites,from 10000 visits a month i get now only 2000,Sick of it!!

I don't have knowledge about basic difference between google panda and penguin. but I know Panda is a person name or surname.

Panda is a site wide penalty, which means that if “enough” (no specific number) pages of your site were flagged for having thin content, your entire site could be penalized. Panda was also intended to stop scrappers (sites that would republish other company’s content) from outranking the original author’s content.​

The Google Penguin Update launched on April 24. According to the ​

Google blog, Penguin​

is an “important algorithm change targeted at webspam. The change will decrease rankings for sites that we believe are violating Google’s existing quality guidelines.” Google mentions that typical black hat SEO tactics like keyword stuffing (long considered webspam) would get a site in trouble, but less obvious tactics (link incorporating irrelevant outgoing links into a page of content) would also cause Penguin to flag your site. Now it is not just the question of panda and penguin...There are few more updates which are more severe then these two and i am sure google is kicking out almost all newbie seos..just real professionals will remain and same thing with websites with less quality...so it will be a search engine with best quality of websites and maximum of information...I GUESS!!
