7 Article Marketing Tips

1. Find High Traffic Keyword or Phrase – You must do a little research here but find a high traffic keyword or phrase you want to rank for in google with low to moderate competition. Preferably you want the keyword to be receiving at least 700 to 1000 hits per month. This keyword or phrase should be easy to find for just about any niche. You can use the google keyword tool for this job.

2. Write Original Content (Article) Optimized With Keyword – This original content should be completely original and should have the keyword in title and throughout the article.
You can outsource this process or write the article yourself. I suggest outsourcing it if you have the money. Prepare to pay anywhere from $5 to $10 dollars and article. If your budget is tight just write the article.

3. Publish This Content On Authority Site – If you don’t have a blog you should publish the original content on a site that has good page rank. You can find a site that has good page rank by doing a google search for your keyword or phrase and looking for a site that is already ranking high for that keyword or phrase. Once you find one, publish your article on that site. Ex. ezinearticles, articlesbase, squidoo, and for videos youtube.

Note: Don’t forget to place your backlink pointing back to your lead capture page or website your wanting to drive traffic to. This is Critical for getting leads and traffic!
Because I have a well established blog I personally use my blog to publish all my original content. This way I keep full control over the content optimization and I don’t have to compete with other marketers ads and affiliate links. If you don’t have a blog an authority site is fine.

4. Publish Semi-Unique Content On Authority Site – Using the same directions in Step 3 write a semi-unique version of the original article and place it on another authority site. This doubles your Real Estate in the search engines. Don’t forget the backlink!

Note: You may spin the original article to produce this semi-unique article (saves time).
5. Use Article Spinning Software To Get Spin Syntax – Take the original article and use article spinning software to create spin syntax. Spin syntax is the spinning code used for rearranging words, phrases, and synonyms to create many different articles from with your original article.

6. Put Spin Syntax In Article Submission Software – Place spin syntax article marketing software designed to submit your article to directories and or blogs. Its literally copy and paste. But before you submit your syntax to the software…

Remember: The purpose of submitting your article spin syntax to directories and blogs is not to get these articles ranked… Its to create content with backlinks to the first two articles (original/semi-unique) to get them on the ranked on the first page of google. The sole purpose of this is backlinks.
The more backlinks the better you rank.

7. Turn Live Artlcle Directory Links Into Feeds And Ping Them – Lastly gather all the links from the live articles that were successfully published on your behalf via AMR or UAW and ping them. This will prompt google to crawl each webpage your article was published on. Once crawled google will notice backlinks pointing back to your first two pieces of content.

 

I just have to disagree with your system of marketing articles. Your plan is already unacceptable by Google Penguin and your websites can only get penalized should you continue the process.

Spinning an article and submitting its multiple versions in article directories is a type of content duplication. Crawlers in search engines hate this type of practice and it's already considered an illegal technique in SEO. This practice does not give your website a long-term success too.

To perform article marketing "legally," simply write an original and quality article in one article directory with high page rank and authority. Once the article is published, never spin it. It's better to submit the page in different social bookmarking sites such as stumbleupon, digg, reddit and more.

It's also helpful to convert the article in video. For instance, if the article is about "How to get ripped," you simply perform the different types of exercises to get lean and muscular. Your video must be uploaded in high-quality video networking sites such as YouTube.

4. Promote your articles—Writing and submitting your article is only half of the battle; you also need to spend some time promoting the articles you write. You can do this by sending out Tweets with links to your articles, occasionally linking out to your articles from your blog, and promoting your articles in your monthly newsletter.
5. Collect best articles for an eBook—If you’ve read my recent posts, you know that writing an eBook is an effective way to increase your authority in your niche. But writing an eBook can be time-consuming. Instead, why not create an eBook that contains your best articles? You can offer the eBook as a freebie on your website, collecting email addresses from those who download it(this builds up your email list for future marketing).

The actual way to use article marketing properly.

1) Create catchy and current headlines. If you can find a "trending topic" related to your site, that would be best
2) Write original and informative articles, remember they could be the first impression of your business.
3) Post them on authority sites or create your own blog, hubpage, wiki-how etc.... and then build links to the article. By doing so, you can create authority pages on a topic that you own (blogger, WordPress..etc)
4) participate in forums, if people are asking the same questions often, send them to your article that answers it.

DO NOT:

1. Use article spinning software
2. generate hundreds of "junk" articles
3. Write content of little or no value
4. Do not outsource articles to "cheap" writers, you get what you pay for. The average price for a high-quality, informative article is $15-$20 per 500 words. It may sound expensive, but gaining just one customer from a great article will more than cover the price.
