I've been asking this question of my readers every few years to see how opinions about WYSIWYG editors change (or not) over time. What do you think? Do you prefer a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor or do you write HTML directly? If you do both, just choose the one you tend to start a design with.

I used to write out HTML in notepad starting with <html> and on. Now days for ease of use, CSS and to get a job moving quickly I often use Expression Web to start a job and still have to make adjustments in the HTML to get things exactly the way I want them.
WYSIWYG editors Are very limited in what they allow you to do and working within the confines of a program drives me absolutely nuts
