Penguin 3.0 Released?

So I have been following the chatter across many forums to kindda get the feel of what the buzz is all about and it seems penguin 3.0 is out!

Now I rarely worry to much about these updates but I will be ignorant if I don't pay attention to them. I did a quick analysis across my affiliate sites and so far nothing is happening but of course it is too early to judge. O know there will be a lot of negativity towards the update if it is really penguin 3.0 but as google as not come out to confirm, normally Mr Cutts will send tweet right about now or something along that line it is still too early to comment

Anyhoos, has anyone noticed anythng shifting up or down in SERPS?

 

Yes there has been a penguin update. Seems its still rolling out and results are not stabled. One my sites dropped but nothing biggie. Number 11 to 23 so it is still ok

 

Hi Jonny, Yep there has definitely been an update. According to Barry at seroundtable, google confirmed on sunday.

 

Well just like I suspected, google penguin 3.0 is still rolling out. It might take another week or two before the dusts finally setlles.

 

Oh no. I have yet to notice the changes. I wonder why Google updates this fast. I'm really having trouble keeping up (though this shouldn't have been since it's not part of my original job description). The thing about these updates is that our previous SEO efforts may end up getting voided. We need to keep changing and it's going to make me dizzy. Anyhow, this is the life we choose the moment we got ourselves involved in SEO. Still hoping this doesn't affect our ranking.

 

xTinx it's been almost a year since there was an update, i think this update was really slow and long over due to be honest.
