Penguin 2.0 recovery

How can I possibly recover my website rankings? Suggestions are welcomes and thanks in advance.

 

Well I have few suggestions. I am not a SEO expert, but my website was penalized by penguin, but somehow I was able to recover my website traffic ( almost 80% ).

First is checking your backlink profile and most importantly your anchor texts. You can use free service by ahrefs. Then you can use link detox to find harmful links. You can ask the website owners to remove the link and if he/she doesn't do so then simply upload the link list to Google's disavow tool. It will usually take from one to two weeks and sometime more than month. So in meanwhile you can try to build backlinks with anchor text variation from web2.0 properties, highly moderated article submission sites like yahoo voices, ezinearticles, sooperarticles or others.
