    [​IMG]The number of .SE domains that were signed using the DNSSEC security standard rose from 4,299 in early 2011 to 171,650 by 31 December, 2011. The registry has attributed this to a considerable increase to a long-term strategy and a proactive initiative from .SE and several of its resellers (registrars) to enhance the security of the Internet in Sweden.
