The news about the new Nintendo Creator's Program started circulating around the last week of January. This will affect the YouTube Channels that show Nintendo related content. To summarize it, it adds that Nintendo will get 30 to 40% of ad revenue from each video registered with the program. There are options. Either one chooses to register a video or a channel, the Nintendo will get 30 and 40 percent of ad revenues respectively.

This seems like a good deal, until you factor in the fact the YouTube will also get a slice of your ad revenue pie. What is worse is that, you need to wait up to 72 hours in order to have your registered video approved by Nintendo. If your content is time dependent, the waiting time can mess up your timing.

Note that the TOS might change arbitrarily. YouTubers are reacting against this plan negatively.
