SUGGESTION Lower The Time Limit

One thing that I have noticed that really hurts this forum is the fact that we have to wait almost a minute and a half to post our next reply. I know this helps cut down on spam, but it makes me want to give up. Sometimes there is a really good post I see and I want to express my thoughts and only to be greeted with the red wait sign. To me: A minute is too long! Last time I just went to another website and forgot to post my reply. I would love to see people contribute more to this forum but with these high time limits, I feel it will take a long time for this community to grow stronger.

I hand't noticed that before. I think perhaps that's the purpose but we'll see what we can do.

I hadn't noticed, either, but, if it's purpose is to cut down on spam, it seems to me that it is ineffective.

 

I get this all the time, but I just keep one tab open, move to the next post and then post it, smoke a cigarette and then post again

Would be useful if those with The Member Status did not have the time limit

 

How about 30 seconds? Now go post like never before!

 

Well, patience is a virtue isn't it. Just be patient on posting. If a red wait sign welcome you, then, just find something that you can do. It's a just a minute. Just be patient. ^_^
