I have seen some articles which I believed had been spun from the master article and it sucks!

Some of the sentences lose their original meaning, not to mention the grammar.

That's why I wonder: Is article spinning really effective?

Yes, spinning articles is only for submission.
However, shouldn't we submit spun articles that are of high quality?

Just my 2 cents worth :)

I use "The Best Spinner" and is highly effective. The great thing is that 99% of the time the articles come out great and need little if no editing. I then use these spun versions on a wide range of website for effective link building.

I really cannot understand why most people are so lazy. First they refuse to write. Then they refuse to at least re-write the spun article and make it readable. Admins are not stupid. They rarely allow poor quality articles being published in their sites because it will make the site fill with rubbish. As I am an admin of an article directory, I get really annoyed reading rubbish submitted by bots.

Most article directory sites want to help you. For my article directory, I even encourage authors doing backlinks. But you are not helping yourself when you submit crap. So dont do that. You will end up wasting your time and getting the admins pissed off.

This is a very good point Dillon and original content "as they say" will always be king. Crappy spun content is produced by "newbies" and this has gave the rest of us a bad name. And now you can buy such articles for as little as $1 each which makes the situation worse.

My advice is think in 100 word blocks, each containing your (1) keyword/keyword phrase. Using this method makes it simple to mix and match sentences and paragraphs as well as the basic alternate words.

I would like to finish with saying that since the massive (Panda) update, where google killed article directories it is now possible to use "evergreen" articles from, say 2009, make very few changes, bookmark (onlywire) with a few more links and hit #1 in the search engines?

I think this is because these article have been removed from the SERP's already, and may be seen by the spiders as original again.

If you have a site with any PR at all give it a try just once. I use Go article for this method.

    Regards

I would just like to answer your "Lazy" quote. When you are new online it is very easy to keep up with all SEO activities........But when you have 100's or 1000's of online properties this becomes impossible.

I do understand in a perfect world this would not be the case, but if one of my competitors has a team of 100+ or is out sourcing all of their work I must use every tool in the box to keep up.

    Kind Regards
