Knowing how to write non-English characters on a web page is critical for anyone posting pages written in a language other than English. This should be obvious. But what might not be as obvious is that even writing web pages 100% in English does not reduce your need for special characters. For example, what if you want to write the word résumé? Without special characters, you might end up with rŽsumŽ or résumé or worse.
