Insights 12 - What Needs to Be on Your Agenda in 2012: Portable Friends

In the second of our series looking at what needs to be on your digital agenda for 2012, we look at the concept of "Portable friends". We are all familiar with the idea of connecting our email address or social media accounts to web services (and being presented with friend recommendations) but in 2012, we will see a significant increase in sophistication of this as we begin to see our address book's begin to contain our and our friends' most recent social interactions right there alongside their numbers. The automatic integration of our social interactions within our address books will only increase the seamless sharing of actions we carry out in our day-to-day lives presenting a whole host of opportunities for marketers to interact with "fans" on the move.
