How many types of Meta Tags are there in SEO and what are their characters limits?
Here are the most important Meta Tags, required in SEO.

Title is the first phrase you see as a search result.

Description of your website.

Most important word to use on specific page.
<meta name="robots" content="selection">
Allows robots to crawl your website.

There are four types of Meta tags as given below:
Title tag: It is the text you will see at the top of your browser. Search engines view this text as a title of your page.
Meta description: A brief desc of the page.
Meta robots attribute: An indication to search engine crawler as to what they should do with the page
Meta Keywords: A series of keywords that relevant to the page in question.
The character length of meta description is 155 to 160 and meta title character length is 55 to 60 char.
As a general rule, you should aim for the following character limits within each of your meta tags: Page title – 70 characters. Meta description – 160 characters. Meta keywords
