How do I get members to post?

    I have close to 200 members in my website. Noone is posting. There is a contest going still no posts. I post and get no feedback. How do I get my forum members to contribute posts?

    Hi Chris,
    The layout needs to be cleaned up some. Are the ads there from the yabb perople? I take it that its a free forum and your stuck with ads unless you pay?
    Other than that you need to ad some good quality content. If Astrology is your thing then this is what you need to write about. I'm going to pm you a link to a forum that I started almost 10 years ago. it's still small but its active. People there are into such things so if you make a post you might get some traffic.

    I Love how you can link the smilies to the post. I want to learn how to do that with avatars. I joined your forum. You must have been doing this for awhile.

    Exposure is something a lot of people want including myself. Everything with online marketing will come in time, one thing that may work is to check out other peoples sites to see what there doing. Make sure your stuff is original and clean. my blog has a lot of key points including a lot of free stuff for your website. Not sure if this helps but i hope it does.
