Help! Needing Info About Dropshipping.

I am considering trying my hand at creating an e-store through a drop shipping company. Has anyone else had any experience with this type of thing? I would really appreciate your insights. Thanks !

I've done drop shipping in the past. It's a great method to generate revenue. There were some problems I encountered. One being the inventory of popular products that would be out of stock from time to time. Another is the company may suddenly remove a product without warning and you have sales to fulfill. My suggestion is for you to try Worldwide Brands. This is a company where you pay a one time fee (a pricey one but it may have changed from the time I paid back in 2008) and you get access to many reputable wholesale companies who also do drop shipping. I presently do some dropping shipping using DS Domination formula of using other national stores as the supplier to avoid having to spend alot of money to purchase inventory and selling the products on Ebay. It has been working for me and thousands of other people using the same formula.

 

Dropshipping has many advantage but there's also some major drawbacks. As @May102014 has already pointed out, there may be issues with order fulfilment. This would seriously deter me from using eBay as a sales channel. Unfulfilled orders can easily lead to getting negged. Get a few negatives on your account and that could easily finish you off.

 

I have done dropshipping before and like someone mentioned already is the problem of your supplier running out of popular items. This happened to me all the time and when it happened, it would always cost me quite a bit of money.
