Sorry to be so impolite, I started posting, before saying hello! Is there a guide somewhere about using this Forum? (I already read the TOU), but, am unsure about the technical aspects and functionality of this site. Is there a designated area where you are allowed to post a link to your web site? What is allowed in your signature? Thank you.

Hi Chas and welcome to eForum! :)

We're happy to see that you have already joined the discussions. You are allowed to promote your own products and services within the "Open Marketplace" section of the forum as well as adding a short promotional message to your signature. (as long as you keep it clean and legal)

At the moment, we do not have a more detailed guide on how to use eForum, but it's a good idea and we'll see what we can do about it. ;)

Hope this helps you and if you have any questions, just let us know.

Am I allowed to put the URL of my web site in the signature line, or is that a no-no? I haven't seen other member's signature lines- have any outstanding examples?
PS~ I see a home page field on other member's profiles, but, I don't find it on my own profile- ?

    Hi Chas,

Yes by all means put your URL in your signature. I was just reading a couple of your other posts and look forward to seeing more of your contributions here.

To add you homepage in your profile, its in your profile under personal settings.

    Welcome to eForum :)
