That looks like a very good website list. Do we surely need to choose the classified site which has the highest page rank?

You have to include the craiglist too. It is also well reputed classified sites which provides some other facilities too that makes a big friend of this classified sites. In my case I'd prefer more Craigslist than other.

I'm still a big fan of Craigslist. I know in not every market or category it's not completely free (mostly Jobs), but there are most of the categories you can post for free and get a great response. I've had great luck finding jobs, selling items when moving, and even just finding some side gigs. Sure you have to weed through some of the spam, but for free, I really think the wide audience and response is worth it.

I also prefer to just use Craigslist and these days I've been using OLX a lot too. I use those because many others use them so I know I will be getting a lot of results for each search. I also use a few others but only as a secondary option for when I really can't find an item.

In the UK, you can't beat Gumtree. It's completely free to use and is a great way of selling unwanted items. I have had a great deal of success with it and it makes a fine Ebay alternative.

Craigslist is not free in my area but it does seem to be the favorite.
