Matt Wells, the founder of the search engine, Gigablast, has developed a new search engine called ProCog.~

That's pretty cool. But will it be able to challenge the big ones?

I don't think Matt is concerned with challenging Google, or Bing/Yahoo!
It is nice to have another choice and I look forward to seeing it develop.
@davidcharles122~ that use to be true, but, I am finding more and more that the search results from Bing are better than Google.

 

Results loading time is not good . And Also Search engine Results are totally Different from Google " Searched for few Queries " . Google is Always Best and Remains as provide more Quality Results . Thanks

 

I am Not Agree with As no one have Reputation like Google . For me Google is Best Web Portal to use .

 

Seems like a nice search engine. But frankly speaking it can give challenge to major search engines only if It would be promoted properly.

At one time, a little over a decade ago, Lycos and Yahoo! dominated search, and Google was the new kid on the block.

Thank you for this post, indeed with competition today, it builds lots of innovation.
To succeed in future, I am sure we no matter doing any business be it b2b, or b2c, should always think outside the box and develop new strategies. Great to know there is this new search engine today.
