While I agree with the author's general thesis, semantic search is not as nearly perfect, as his article portrays it. Like crawlers, motion and voice commands(think x-box, Siri, the new Samsung 'Smart' TV's, etc.), it has flaws. Maybe you don't want the same result every time, as is portrayed by Google's profile of you. Switching browsers, devices and using a different wi-fi location can all have an impact on search results- semantic, or otherwise.
