Hey there guys. I need some pointers. I have a Facebook page set up for my business and I'm having a difficult time getting people to comment, share or like things. I post daily to keep content fresh and I do a lot of engaging activities on the page in hopes of communicating with people. Like asking questions or asking for their ideas. I just did a big gift giving idea extravaganza and even had a give away and no one responded to anything that I posted. Not quite sure what I'm doing wrong and was wondering if any of you could give me some feedback!!

Well, it would depend on what you're niche is. If you can do a "how to" article for your niche, you could get some likes by posting that on your Facebook page, but as I said, it would depend on what you're niche is.

Try to personally promote it to your family and friends first. Networking can really be important most especially if you're just starting out. Also, the content has to be catchy and interesting enough so it can grab the attention of people.

Try sharing your posts to other social sites and see if you can get new followers from there. It may be the audience that you are marketing to. I have found a lot of times I was just not networking with the right demographic of people for the service I was offering, so my marketing techniques were not reaching them the way I wanted. Add more people.
