I am a college student and to somehow support my school finances, I also do work from home. I find it very useful because I've got time in my hands. Even if the earnings are just a few dollars, it's still a good deal and I'm very thankful for it. How about you? Do you work from home?

Yes, I work from home and have done so for 12 years.

I love the flexibility of working from home and it gives me the ability to do things with my children like help at school and pick them up from kinder.

It also suits me because I hate sitting at a workplace when there is nothing to do or if I am missing out on something else important.

Yeah, I work at home too, but I think that I would be so much more productive if I could work out of the home- like at my own office or something. There are so many distractions when you work at home, including pets, people, and video games, and I know that I'd get so much more done if I wasn't around it. You need to be disciplined to work from home.

I've been working from home exclusively for about 4 or 5 years now and it's okay. I don't consider it as being that much better or worse than a traditional work environment because both have their own advantages and disadvantages.

I got very lucky. I am actually employed and do work for a company, but there are only three of us in the company so we don't have an actual office. The three of us just work from our own homes. This was my first job out of college. Honestly, after working this job for three years, I'm not sure I could go to a regular office job. I love the freedom have. I still work from 9-5, but it's nice being able to cook myself lunch, or eat my own breakfast at my desk while I work. Or, if I want a break, I can watch a bit of TV in my PJ's during lunch. Usually what I do now is use my lunch breaks to exercise, which still makes me productive, gives me a break from the computer, and frees up my evenings for whatever I want.

Another plus side about working from home is I am not locked down to where I live. I currently live in Dallas, and have already moved around a lot within Dallas. Don't have to worry about commuting as a factor. Next year, most likely I will move to Austin. I've already run it by my boss and he seems fine with it.

I LOVE not having to wake up super early, shower, and wear uncomfortable, expensive, nice clothes just for work. Also love not having to deal with traffic in the mornings.

I'm hoping to supplement my work income with some IM income as well. I can certainly spend some of my downtown working on making some side money.

I work out of my home. Sometimes it's hard to focus in my apartment so I go to Starbucks or to the public library. Any place where I can connect to wifi. I have been doing it for a few years.

I am considering finding a co-working place to set up office. The downside for working at home is that I have a hard time ending my workday. I have a tendency to work longer hours because everything is right where I live.

Yes, I work online, as well. I have been working for about 3 - 3 1/2 years now. I must say, I am actually very satisfied with my earnings. The aspects of controlling how much you can make and when you want to make it is just overwhelming. If is a wonderful opportunity.

I have a regular job as a nanny but I also work from home part time. I love being able to work from home, especially cause I have two children and I love being able to be there for them. Working from home can also be a bit boring in my opinion, sometimes I get tired of being home and want to be out talking to people and interacting with people. The only time I love working from home is in the winter because I hate traveling when it's cold and snowing outside.

I do yes. I wish that I made enough to do it full time and as my only job. I also work about 12 hours per week at my other job. I currently make money blogging, mainly on Blogjob and by using a free social networking site that pays me for my content called Tsu.

I do work at home and I love it. I make quite a bit of money online doing several different jobs for many different companies. I do have a part time job at a store though as I start to go stir crazy after so long at home. It is a great balance for me and I love both of my jobs and get to live happily!

I am a college student and have tried to work from home but it is very difficult. I wish I could find a way to work at home though because the economy is so bad where I live and I just want a little spending money.

I have been working at home on and off for the past few years, doing random gigs and freelance writing - have taken it back up again recently after the birth of my daughter to get some extra money coming in. My most recent work at home project is my Frugal Living blog - which actually just went live on wordpress. https://frugallyfruitful.wordpress.com/ feel free to check it out if you like.

I have been freelance writing now for about 8 years and its has been generally good for me. Make no mistake, there has been many ups and down freelancing as at times the work does not come in the volumes I would like but when it does come its really good. The key I believe is to ensure your service if of high quality.

I've been working from home since 1998, when I set up my own small poetry press using a desktop publishing system. As Internet usage grew and people were able to publish their own poetry, I turned to writing and publishing articles online. I started to make money as an affiliate with my own blogs and websites.

Now my main source of income comes from writing content for other people.

Wow, I wish I started back then. Did you ever decide to learn about SEO? It would have been pretty easy before 2010. I don't think there was much involved in '98, and not many people were too comfortable with buying things online, but before 2010, it would have been far easier than it is now.

I work part time away from home and supplement my income with various online jobs and tasks. I have tried many things out over the years but have always had the most success with microjobbing. I use various different sites. Whilst I agree that you can spend more time working at home than you originally plan to, it's good that all your home comforts are there.

I'm currently working from home on a part-time basis for extra income but I also have a full-time job to support the bulk of my expenses. What I like about work-at-home jobs is that they're not as demanding as office-based jobs where your presence is required for 9 hours or more. Still, it pays to immerse in both worlds.

I currently work from home. You have to find the right job for this to work efficiently. Many work from home jobs are not very flexible with hours. If you can find a good one stick with it. The only gripe I have is the lonely hours. I like to socialize but I am doing this so I can be with my family more. I am a recent Air Force retiree so I missed a lot of family time.
