I requested an invite over a week ago and nothing... I can't pin stuff since I've been waiting on an invite.

I actually got an invite from pintrest, I couldn't use it though as i don't have an FaceBook or Twitter account.

 

What! Really, no facebook or twitter ...

I know people who claim they have 900 friends on FaceBook and when I ask how many they actually know......uh..

So after chatting with people they don't know they spend hours playing Zynga Poker or Farmville.

Though i spend 12 + hours a day online I just don't have the time for games or socializing with people I don't know.

I do have a linkedin account but that's about it.

 

Yeah WMagick, I know what you mean about the x number of 'friends' and I refuse to even start with any of the games. I do really like facebook though, I keep in contact with family and friends abroad, funny enough, my local pals as well of late.

I do intend to open a business page at some time, but want to learn how to utilize it properly first and actually interact with those who should 'like' my page.

Like you say, at the end of the day these sites are time consuming.
