Anyone Ever Used Factoidz?

Factoidz was an old article writing site that paid pretty well and had an easy to use interface. Was a really nice site. They unfortunately sold the business to another team who changed the name to Knoji and changed the whole site. I haven't really been on it since then. So I'm just curious if any of you ever did any writing for Factoidz when it was still in operation?

 

When I was browsing for some online jobs, I came across with Factoidz but I've read some negative reviews about them so I didn't pursue writing for them. Instead, I looked for more popular sites such as Bubblews and Hubpages.

 

Bubblews seem to have gotten a really bad reputation this past few months. I wrote there, but I am now systematically removing all my articles from their database. Anyway, I have now heard of Factoidz. I am an online marketing newbie, so to speak.

 

I wrote articles for several sites over the years and Factoidz was definitely my favorite. eHow was ok until they changed up their system. I tried several others like Squidoo and Hubpages but never really liked them all that much.

 

Why are they getting bad reviews? They change up their system or something?

 

They suddenly changed their TOS with regards to payments. Suddenly, even good users were bunched in with the abusers and these good users were not paid. I think Bubblews owes them upwards of 100 dollars. Some, who asked for update on their money, end up getting banned. It would have been a good place to earn, if the sudden change did not happen.

 

Wow that's sounds like a screwed up situation. I wonder why on Earth they decided to make such move? If I had content on their site I would also be removing it. I'd take my stuff somewhere else and post it on a site that knows how to do good business.

 

The bad thing is that it was doing so well before that people did not sense the sudden reversal. It was a social blogging platform and people are attached to the platform, some defending it and staying. I have removed my important articles while the ones remaining are fluff. I will be removing them soon. The net is awash with Bubblews horror stories now.
