Anybody Else Hosting On Bluehost?

I've had my websites hosted in BlueHost for 4 years now. For the first year they offered me a dirt cheap deal, something like 60 bucks / year, they then jacked the price up to 119 $ / year for the next 3 years, and this November, when I was about to renew my hosting I had the unpleasant surprise of finding out they had jacked up my price again by about 30 bucks.
Are any of you hosting on BlueHost, and has that happened to you as well?

 

I have never hosted my site at BlueHost. After what you just shared, I doubt I'd ever be availing of their hosting services in the future. I'm thinking about Site Ground. I don't know if you've tried working with them. Someone, an SEO pro, recommended the site to us since their services are more convenient and very affordable.

 

I have never used BlueHost either. I was going to sign up for hosting, but I didn't want to pay for a year upfront. I got burned on a couple of those types situations before. I like to try before I commit to a long term relationship.

Reliable hosting is very important. Have you had any problems with them? How is their uptime?

 

One of my friends recommended me BlueHost but I pick Hostwinds instead. I heard about some confusing situations at BlueHost and I'm not really sure I'd buy some domain or hosting at their site. I'm happy with Hostwinds even if I'm paying a little too much than I should.

 

I've been generally pleased with Bluehost in the three or so years that I've been using them. They tend to support a lot more bells and whistles needed by certain scripts I am trying to run, that other services I was using, such as Fatcow, didn't. My big gripe with them though is they do seem to have a lot of moments of down time - which although brief, are still frustrating. There were a number of times I freaked out because some of my clients sites that I designed were down and I thought it was a mistake on my part, only to find out they were just having another outage.

 

I have never tried BlueHost before, but I've been reading some good reviews about it, so I guess I'll check it out to see for myself. HostGator has been really great so far, personally.

 

i used bluehost for 1 year or so, very bad experience working with bluehost, so i recommend you , not to go with this .

 

I'm considering to migrating from Knownhost to Bluehost VPS. Bluehost is a new one to the VPS.

 

Never heard about this website, if you want to take hosting then go with easy.gr. They can provide you hosting services at very affordable price.
